Excited to see what this Wednesday night 12/20 will bring. We have lined the platform with gifts for the homeless & those in need in Willimantic. Light on The Hill & Chaplin Congregational are joining with us as we join Eastford Congregational to spread the love of Christ this Christmas. It is going to be tremendous! We will be meeting this Wednesday at 2:30pm (@ Abiding Word) to pray over the gifts & load up the trucks. We will be setting up at the First Baptist Church in Willimantic at 5 p.m. and will be starting the Christmas celebration at 6pm sharp. Eastford Congregational Church will be preparing a meal and sharing the word. It will be a great night with a total of 5 churches converging together to make everything happen! The picture attached are the gifts that we had as of this morning but there are more gifts still pouring in from the other churches. Thank you to Pastors John C. Heald Jr., Roger Bolduk & all your folks that put their hands to the plow. And a big thank you to the faithful at Abiding Word Church who never cease to amaze us!

Over the last couple of months our Wednesday nights been focusing on ministering to the homeless and those that are addicted to drugs and alcohol. For those that want to get clean we are extending the offer for rehabilitation programs. Our goals: 1. Establish a real relationship with them 2. Introduce them to our great hope (Jesus) 3. To see these people cleaned up and put back into society working and earning a living. Our Wednesday nights have literally been walking through the woods and making contact. Last Wednesday we delivered seven first contact bags and prayed with several right on the street. Keep us in prayer as we go out tonight and every Wednesday making contact and ministering to those in need. Attached is an example of our first contact bag.

The way Easter is meant to be, celebrating the resurrection of Jesus!

"Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom" - 2 Corinthians 3:17

But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. -Romans 5:8
